XCastLabs
XCastLabs has been one of the rapidly developing and among the most admired unified communications service providers of 2020, and rightfully so. XCastLabs provides its client’s technologies and platforms with advanced VoIP and SIP Trunking and offers services such as Hosted PBX, SOHO, Data Services, Cloud Contact Center, communication platforms for Big Events and Conferences.
XCastLab’s Voice-over-the-Internet and softswitch innovation began over 25 years ago. The founders—Patricia Mathis and Vladimir Smelyansky—combined their collective expertise and experience together in 2002 to provide the pillars upon which the company’s stellar reputation is built.
Challenges faced and conquered
Like all companies that break into disruptive markets, XCast has faced some challenges—including the economic impacts of 9/11 and the years of recessions that delayed the ability of small businesses to migrate their legacy telephone systems onto internet-based solutions.
As a critical service provider, XCast had to quickly adapt to the unanticipated conditions surrounding the COVID pandemic. The company’s employees and customers are very experienced in working remotely so they were able to quickly adapt to a 100% remote work situation and increase its conferencing and regular “wellness” phone calls to employees and customers alike.
XCast has remained strongly committed to ensuring continuity of service for all its customers and to maintaining essential lifelines to keep all customers safe, healthy and economically viable.
The XCast team is enthusiastic about moving forward in 2021 with renewed creativity, imagination and commitment to his customers. Their engineering team is busy working on new solutions to address all the communication business needs of the diverse markets it serves.
Reliving the successful journey
When asked about the key reasons for the company’s success, Mathis immediately stressed the talent of their employees and the loyalty of their customers. They summarized the factors that drove XCastLabs success in this way:
- Employee talent, commitment and loyalty.
- commitment to customers.
- Investor support and patience.
- Flexibility in responding to market demands and changing economic realities.
- A sense of humor and sheer luck.
They also say that customer loyalty is the result of their employees’ intimate understanding of the customer. Employees at all level maintain close contact with their customer base which enable them to work together to create practical and emerging technologies. Open communication at all levels of the company help channel the team’s creativity and imagination to advance toward common goals.
The differentiators
XCast early and distinguished reputation was built on its network quality, reliability and flexibility to adapt to different customer requirements. Its recent architectural redesign will allow applications and solutions unique to different vertical markets—like hotels, health services, schools and other specialized business environments. The company’s basic philosophy is to support all the communications needs of small to mid-size businesses—either directly on their platform or through partnership with others.
Their product suite includes advanced VoIP and SIP Trunking features and an intelligent wholesale platform. These products allow them to serve various markets and business segments. Their customers include telecom service providers, call centers, telemarketing companies, corporate call centers, private label resellers, ISPs, CLECS, and rural telephone companies.
