AmeriPro EMS teams are experienced and highly trained to provide an unparalleled customer/patient experience. This translates into reduced wait-times for patients and increased patient safety and satisfaction.
The Market Dynamics and Evolution
The market of EMS has become more and more challenging due to myriad reasons like an increasingly aging population and an upsurge of chronic diseases. Besides this, the growing specialization of hospitals has caused an increased demand for interfacility transfers. The overall rise in hospital demand also has resulted in general delay in transfers. Issues like inefficient routing, transportation costs, billing, and operations are a significant hurdle which causes slower response time.
AmeriPro successfully addressed these concerns with an inward dive investment in technology, and it started in April 2018 but has expanded rapidly since then. Inside the unit, it’s like a mini-hospital room. Each truck is outfitted with portable IV infusion pumps, a portable ventilator, a paramedic, and Emergency Medical Technician.
The Service Model
One can never predict an emergency, and thus it’s best to be ready. AmeriPro EMS provides for 911 Emergency Response calls, inter-facility medical transportation with a full complement of Critical Care, ALS and BLS services, critical care medical transportation with certified essential teams of care; AmeriPro also offers emergency management consulting that is focused on comprehensive emergency management plans and related disaster, homeland security and business continuity planning, training, and exercise services including active shooter planning. They also offer services of providing paramedics on standby for high-risk stunt shoots during film productions.
Mobile Integrated Health (MIH)
AmeriPro’s commitment to partnership means they understand the challenges hospitals face with throughput, patient satisfaction, readmissions, and high utilizers of emergency services. Their specialized MIH program can be implemented to assist hospitals that are strained by substantial monetary penalties for patient readmissions costing hospitals millions of dollars per year. They achieve this by:
- Reducing over-utilization of the Emergency Department for non-emergent patients
- Reducing readmission rates and potential/actual penalty expenses
- Utilizing EMS to support community health needs and fill gaps in care.
