Drips is Focused on Making a Meaningful Impact with its AI-Powered Conversational Outreach Platform

Drips’ AI-powered platform enables brands to engage with their audiences using a conversational outreach strategy that includes human-like two-way texting, scheduled calling, and voicemail messages.

Even though mobile technology has advanced significantly, one thing hasn’t changed — a consumer’s expectation and preference for a personalized experience. This leaves enterprises with the challenge of meeting consumer expectations and engaging with them in a thoughtful, humanized way.

Founded in 2016, the Drips conversational outreach platform was the first of its kind. Since then, it has been adopted by some of the largest enterprises in the country, including Fortune 500 companies who want to ‘act small’ by having 1:1 humanized conversations at scale with their consumers.

The company’s conversational outreach platform is utilized by clients across many industries including insurance providers, mortgage lenders, communication service providers and healthcare companies.

In fact, in 2021, Drips significantly expanded its footprint through key partnerships in the healthcare industry and secured a significant growth investment from the Blue Venture Fund.

Drips continued to propel its growth in the healthcare industry during the 2021 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). The company set a record milestone by generating nearly a quarter-million qualified inbound calls from seniors interested in Medicare plans across its entire client ecosystem.

In another example, a top-five health insurance provider wanted to decrease the number of Medicare Part D (prescription drug plan) policy terminations from missed payments. They recognized the urgent trouble this could cause policyholders, so they worked with Drips to implement a conversational outreach campaign.

While primarily SMS-centered, Drips would also direct policyholders to a phone call with a health insurance agent if requested.

In just one month, the health insurer experienced a 290% increase in policy retention. With a larger pool of members, the following month, there was a 170% increase in retention compared to the health insurer’s existing contact methods and they saved more than 3,000 Medicare members from having their policies terminated.

“Our focus on innovation is guided by our passion for helping consumers get the services they need on their terms,” said Aaron Christopher “A.C.” Evans, Co-Founder and CEO of Drips.
